Project One: User Research
We started to get an initial understanding of our user base through interviews with relevant stakeholders. This included speaking to people from different disciplines to get a rounded sense, and conducting longer workshops to gain insight on general behaviour and how our products were perceived - the users were based abroad!
We worked closely with our clients, sticking to the existing design system and component libraries to maintain a cohesive look for their brand. After a series of design iterations and weekly catch-ups, we noticed a lack of understanding on the different ways people used devices - affected by culture, habit, and language.

Conducting live surveys and interviews allowed me to collect both quantitative and qualitative data to form guidelines on how to design the interfaces. I used my results to add clearer rules to the existing design system, for other designers to design around on the next iterations.
Project Two: Internal Tool
I was tasked to quickly design and develop a replacement for an existing internal tool, focusing on simplicity and ease of use. To accommodate for time constraints, I started by reviewing existing API usage data and implementing Google Tag Manager on the existing platform. In parallel, I designed preliminary interfaces that will be iterated on upon receiving more data from analytics.

Upon the completion of data collection and design, I developed the platform using Vue.js to align with the team’s existing repositories. The Figma designs were then recreated and the app was ensured to be responsive to allow the business development team to use it on the go.
